For those who care
There is a wide, unseen and often unacknowledged community of support and care within the organ donation movement. This ranges from front line medical staff, through volunteers to those unsung, quiet heroes who dedicate part or all of their lives to the care of those needing help.
This website could never be complete without acknowledging your selflessness and enormous humanitarian contribution. In the immediate future we plan to include a discussion forum, to which you may like to contribute and which may be a support to you. The Carers Association is Ireland’s national voluntary organization for and of family carers in the home. Family carers provide high levels of care to a range of people including frail, older people, peope with severe disabilities, the terminally ill and children with special needs.
