David Hickey Interview on RTE
Dr. David Hickey, the well known and much loved transplant Surgeon at Beaumont Hospital gave a wonderfully warm and frank interview on the Ray D'Arcy show on RTE. Dr. Hickey retired earlier this year from his post at Beaumont Hospital.
When Strange Boat Donor Foundation was set up in 2008, Dave gave great support to the Charity and, particularly, to the Circle of Life Garden. He is photographed here (right) with Phyllis Cunningham, Senior Transplant Coordinator at Beaumont Hospital and Denis Goggin on a visit to the garden.

Strange Boat Donor Foundation would like to wish David every happiness and good health in his "official" retirement, but as he said himself, he has lots of plans to continue in the world of transplantation into the future. We look forward to welcoming him back to Circle of Life Garden.
