Organ Donor Awareness Week 2019

Ray D'Arcy becomes this year's Ambassador for the IKA's Organ Donor Awareness Campaign, and IKA Chief Executive calls for practical changes to improve organ donation rates. 

The IKA has announced that RTE's Ray D'Arcy will become this year's Ambassador for organ donor awareness 2019, taking up the baton from Claire Byrne who fronted last year's campaign.  This year's campaign launched at the Mansion House on Tuesday, 26th March, will run from March 30th - April 6th.

At the launch of this year's campaign, attended by the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, TD., the Chief Executive of the IKA, Mark Murphy, called for practical changes to improve organ donation rates.
