Organ Donor Awareness Week 2023
The Annual Organ Donor Awareness Week which is organised by the Irish Kidney Association in association with the ODTI (Organ Donation & Transplant Ireland) runs this year from 20th - 27th May.

Kenny Family Loughrea, supports Circle of Life Garden
The Kenny Family from Loughrea presented a cheque for €5,000 to Strange Boat Donor Foundation in memory of Mary Kenny whose organs were donated following her sudden death from a brain aneurysm in 2019.

250 organ transplants took place during 2022
The HSE’s Organ Donation Transplant Ireland Office (ODTI) reported that 250 organ transplants took place during 2022 thanks to the selflessness of 86 deceased and 33 living organ donors and their families.
Collen Charity Cycle 2022: "The Sky's the Limit"
Strange Boat Donor Foundation and the Circle of Life Garden were again included in the many charities supported by Collen Construction Ltd through their annual cycle fundraising event. A cheque for €2,000 was presented to the Charity in December 2022.
