News from Northern Ireland - Galway Hookers support for organ donation
As part of the Northern Ireland Transplant Forum's 9 challenges in support of organ donation, a group of people, including organ recipients, from Northern Ireland travelled to Connemara to take part in the annual Galway Hooker Regatta in Cill Chiaráin during the first weekend of July.

Circle of Life Garden Flooded
Having escaped the ravaging might of the elements before Christmas, Circle of Life Commemortive Garden succumbed to the forces of nature and, like so many other parts of Salthill and the West Coast, was completely flooded during the storm and high tide on Thursday night, 2nd January.
Local Authority Support Initiative for Circle of Life
Local Authorities throughout the 32 counties have been invited to support Circle of Life, National Organ Donor Commemortive Garden, through a tree sponsorship scheme.

Xmas Cards support IHLTA
Pupils from the Eureka School in Kells, Co. Meath have designed and painted some very imaginative Christmas cards in support of the Irish Heart & Lung Transplant Association.
Circle of Life - work begins
On September, 18th 2013, the first machine rolled in to Quincentennial Park to start construction on Circle of Life National Commemorative Garden to Organ Donors. All things going well and weather permitting, it is anticipated the garden will be completed by the end of December, 2013.
